Jet2.com is expanding its Hangar team at Leeds and has an exciting opportunity for a B2 Licensed Engineer. As part of the One Team approach, you will play a crucial role in ensuring aircraft are safe, serviceable, and presented in a clean and timely manner to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
You will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks in compliance with regulatory airworthiness standards and company policies. The role involves carrying out pre-flight, daily, and weekly checks of aircraft, as well as rectification and repair, mandatory inspection, and certification of all servicing and maintenance tasks within your scope of approval. You will also maintain all documentation for aircraft under your control and be available at short notice to perform Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery. After training, you will be expected to work on a 42-hour per week shift pattern.
To be successful, you should be UK issued Part 66 B2 Qualified with experience working on commercial aircraft. A full UK Driving Licence is essential, and holding current approvals for B737 aircraft is preferred, although other aircraft approvals will be considered. Additional approvals for other Jet2.com Aircraft types (A321 and B757) would be advantageous. You should be highly organized, able to prioritize work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
